New name for Berwick Voluntary Forum

brings logo design opportunity for North Northumberland students

Jane Pannell, the chairperson for Berwick Voluntary Forum announced this week that the Voluntary Forum will officially be changing its name to North Northumberland Voluntary Forum (NNVF) with immediate effect.

Jane explained that the new name would reflect the evolving geographical focus of the Voluntary Forum, adding, “Our old name reflected the former borough council as our area of operation and we need to move forward and relate to the current geography – so we've chosen North Northumberland Voluntary Forum as the name which best explains the area we cover now.  It’s also the name of the North Northumberland Network which we host on a quarterly basis.”

Jane also explained that in addition to the name change the Voluntary Forum will be changing their logo. “We would like to ask local students to help us design our new logo. This new logo will feature prominently on our website and throughout our social media platforms and will be used extensively in our publicity and promotional campaigns.  We hope this will be of particular interest to any students who are studying a design-related subject but, of course, it is open to all students in North Northumberland. There will be a prize for the best entry of £25 and the winning individual or team will be invited to the annual Voluntary and Community Awards presentation evening in July where the new logo will be launched.”

For further information about the outlines of the requirements for the logo design please contact Fiona Calder Tel 01289 304141 or email bvforum@hotmail.co.uk
